This project involves the renovation of a family-style community for 8 minors from 6 to 18 years old, disadvantaged due to abandonment or abuse and removed from their families by order of the competent authorities.

The project envisages the renovation of one floor of the community and the purchase of furnishings in order to make it as functional and suitable as possible for the needs of the minors accepted.

The Cometa Association was founded in 1987 thanks to the personal experience of two families who opened their homes to take in minors in difficulty. Today, it is an organisation offering services of a high standard to over 350 minors and families in the Province of Como. In order to meet the minors’ needs and to best interact with the Institutions, the Cometa Association has, over time, increased the number of services it provides and structured itself through numerous authorised bodies, each operating in a specific field. As well as taking in young people and providing the main forms of family support, Cometa can boast undisputed experience in the fields of upbringing, academic orientation and recreational activities.
