This is a residential program for 8 youth (plus another 2 for emergencies), aged 14 to 21, referred by courts, probation departments or social services for rehabilitation, who receive educational and vocational services.
Overview
The program is carried out at a residential facility in a detached 2-story house with a garden and about 7,000 sq. m of land in Scisciano (Naples), a district where Jonathan has been working since its foundation. The house was renovated to meet the program requirements. From the very moment the youth enter the house they appreciate the comfort and home-like environment, which is something they are not used to, and their rehabilitation begins right away with their learning the importance of taking care and respecting a warm and tidy place. They are assisted by dedicated staff, a total of 8 qualified professionals i.e. the house manager, 6 educators and one counselor.

Jonathan is a leading nonprofit organization in the region of Campania. Established in 1993, it has three residential facilities, and a track record of successful employment for the youth on its prevention and rehabilitation programs. Jonathan made the strategic choice to work in a municipal district that is not afflicted by the social problems that sadly plague other areas in the province of Naples. This choice was made to offer a true alternative for a better life to the young people on its program. This is made possible also thanks to the support given by the local administration and social services.
