Kairos Social Day

Kairos Social Day is an annual appointment to which all Kairos people and their families are invited to familiarize with the children’s programs of the Oliver Twist Foundation and get involved. It entails a day of volunteer work with one of the Oliver Twist Foundation’s partners to do something useful and tangible for them and an opportunity for Kairos people to get direct experience of professional social service work.

The Kairos Social Day 2008 was held at Associazione Cometa, in Como. Over 150 people, Kairos employees and Cometa staff, participated in it.

The Kairos Social Day 2009 will be held again at Cometa. It will be an important event for  the Oliver Twist Foundation and for all Kairos people, who will have the opportunity to visit the Oliver Twist School which is now complete and running, and also strengthen their relationship with the children and the educators of Cometa they met last year. In addition to the ‘guided tour’ of the Oliver Twist School, our Kairos colleagues and their families will have the opportunity to participate in volunteer work and in two arts workshops held by the professional staff of Paneartemarmellata.
